The Archive is a multi-decade collaboration with Roddenberry Entertainment and The Gene Roddenberry Estate leveraging next generation media technologies to capture and preserve Gene Roddenberry's lifetime of works for future generations to explore with quiescent historical accuracy and holographic immersion.
Open Standards
OTOY leads the development of the Immersive Technologies Media Format (ITMF), an open-source family of standards based on OTOY’s ORBX file format. OTOY is active in several standards organizations and working groups, including Khronos gITF, Metaverse Standards Forum 3D Asset Interoperability, and the ASWF MaterialX and OSL technical steering committes.
